DJ Cuppy , daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, has revealed that she doesn’t exploit her father’s influence to get things done like Davido does. In a chat with E-Daily,  DJ Cuppy  said though she is the daughter of an oil magnate, her dad’s name rarely opens all doors for her. In her words:  “People have to understand that just because I was born into my family does not mean that it opens all doors, that is everyone’s outside perspective. My inside perspective is just being someone’s child; how can being someone’s child be used against you? Singer,  Davido  has however made a mocking reaction to claims by Linda Ikeji’s sister, Laura Ikeji, who recently revealed her plans to undergo plastic surgery. Laura Ikeji made this revelation during a chat with Legacy TV and she went on to show support for Tonto Dikeh who recently went through the process. Actress, Caroline Danjuma is also known to have gone through the process in the past. Davido mocked ladies who take the option of plastic surgery to help them make bodily ‘transformation.’ The singer mocked these ladies in a post on social media, before advising them to ‘stay natural.’ See his post below. The Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) has slammed a Not-To-Be-Broadcast (NTBB) warning on  Olamide ‘s latest single “ Science Student .” Nigerian Tribune reports that the warning was served to all radio and television stations over the week. The Head of Public Affairs of the NBC, Hajia Maimuna Jihada told Tribune that the song was not out-rightly banned but prohibited from being played on local stations for public consumption. She said: ‘NBC does not ban music. Our mandate is on what goes on Radio and TV. Olamide’s Science Student has been declared ‘Unfit for broadcast’. She further went on to mention that the song’s subtle promotion of illegal drugs was the main reason for declaring it unlawful as she issued a stern warning to all broadcasting houses; ‘We have communicated all our licenses for compliance or they will face sanctions’

Nigerian Reggae-dancehall artiste,  Burna Boy , submitted 5 songs to Drake for the Canadian rapper’s  More Life  project, Pulse NG reports. Burna Boy made this revelation during the listening party for his forthcoming album titled “Outside.” It was at the event which held on Sunday January 21st, 2017 at the We´re´ House in Lagos, that the singer revealed how he met with Drake in London and how their meeting led to them working on the project Drake was working on at the time, which turned out to be an album titled  “More Life.” Burna Boy spoke on how he worked hard to make materials for the projects. had earlier reported that Reekado Banks has a case with the Police over his failure to show up at an event he had received payment for. The latest development on the story is that the singer refused to show up at the police station despite several invites. His manager and brother, Temi, was arrested and arraigned before a court in Ikeja on the 23rd January, 2018. He was later remanded to the Kirirkiri Maximum Prison but Reekado Banks is still at large. An intense war of words involving Daddy Freeze and Samklef broke out on Instagram. Following the report that  Davido  made over 500 million naira from his 30 Billion Concert, Alibaba has made a reaction that would leave some observers shocked.  The revered comedian reacted via a social media post, revealing how several people have asked him questions on whether it is possible to make the amount quoted by Davido, from organizing an event in Nigeria. A 25-year-old British tourist identified as Reece Vella, has been arrested over the death of a Thai hooker Wannipa Janhuathon, 26, who  plunged five floors to her death as they had “strange and extravagant” $ex on a balcony of Saturday morning in Pattaya, Thailand. Brother of Olamide and prominent member of YBNL, DJ Enimoney, has been accused by a certain @forbesnominee, of attempted murder. The accuser made a post on social media narrating his ordeal in the hands of DJ Enimoney and staff members of popular club, Quilox. The accuser, in his post, stated that the DJ and other YBNL crew members nearly killed him. He stated that he barely survived the attack and that he still carries indelible scars on a part of his body, only inches away from his heart. The accuser attached pictures of him receiving treatment to substantiate his narrative. He however added that he is still not sure of his health status and if anything happens to him, DJ Enimoney and the whole YBNL crew should be held responsible.
